World’s first AI classroom

Guess what? A school in London is starting a class with no teachers—just AI! It’s happening this September at David Game College. They're letting computers do all the teaching for 20 students. How cool is that?

Here’s the scoop: the students will be using computers and VR headsets that figure out what each student is good at and what they need to work on.

Then, the AI sets up a personalized plan for them, focusing more on the tough stuff right away and saving the easier topics for later.

John Dalton, co-principal of the school, champions the precision and adaptability of AI in education. "While human teachers are invaluable, the bespoke and meticulous approach AI brings could revolutionize how we understand and cater to individual student needs," he explained.

But, not everyone's on board with this. Some people are worried that learning from machines might make school feel kind of cold and impersonal.

Robot commercial gone wrong

Have you heard about NEO Beta yet? It’s this new humanoid robot from 1X Technologies that's designed to help around the house, and let me tell you, it's pretty wild!

So, NEO is about as tall as I am at 5'5", super light at 66 pounds, and can run faster than I ever could at 7.5 mph. It can even lift up to 44 pounds and keeps going for 2-4 hours before it needs to recharge. Sounds like the perfect helper, right?

But here’s where it gets really interesting—NEO is almost too human-like. It uses something called "embodied AI" to really get a feel for its surroundings.

Now, here's the kicker 😂 → I found out the company was actually looking for someone to wear a robot suit and pretend to be NEO. Can you believe it?

For a second there, they almost had us fooled that NEO was all robot, no human 😂!
